Poultry Breeder Multi - 25Kg for $40.50 (or 10kg for $20) - preparing your breeding birds to lay eggs to hatch

Epsom Salts – 25kg bag for $30 (or $3/kg) – great for the garden, sprinkle it around and water it in, it delivers magnesium to the soil, which helps seeds germinate, makes plants grow bushier/greener, produces more flowers, increases chlorophyll production and deters pests, such as slugs.  Industrial grade - so recommended for gardening applications only.

Plain Salt – 25kg for $12  (not iodised)

Purepine SHAVINGS – 19kg bale for $30 (almost no sawdust, bedding/nests/mulch)

Red Mites –best method of control is:

Exzolt – treatment you put in their water & PoultryDefender sold by a company called BioForce (works best in a dirt floor coop in summer) – now that the weather is getting colder, red mite numbers should reduce.  So something to research for next spring.

Diatomaceous Earth - $26 for 1kg – we prefer to mix it into a paste and paint it on the perches, ends of the perches and into any cracks/corners (less dust then).

Methionine liquid - $8 for 20ml – add it to their drinking water to promote new feather growth (also helps stop feather picking/cannibalism) – brilliant for growing the best feathers they can keep warm with.  You add it to their drinking water  - dosage is 1ml per 8 litres of water.

Mixed Grain (25kg for $33.50, kibbled maize, barley, wheat & molasses) or 50:50 (25kg for $32.50, kibbled maize and barley) – can be a nice ‘scatter grain’ to keep hens busy.  50:50 can also be fed to horses, calves, sheep etc, for a treat.

Kibbled Popcorn (25kg for $35 – nice treat food for poultry (its being used in our Layer Multi), much less dusty than Kibbled Maize

Whole Barley (25kg for $35), Kibbled Barley (25kg for 36)

Whole Maize (25kg for $35), Kibbled Maize (25kg for $36)

Pig Meal (25kg for $31.50),   Whole Wheat (25kg for $35)

Calf Meal (25kg for $32.50)

Stressol - $10 for 100gm - vitamin mix as a tonic to ill or stressed birds (or pigs), mix 5g into 12.5 litres of fresh drinking water (good to feed to ‘stargazing’ chicks).

Starter Pack from PoultryNZ – contains 300gm Diatomaceous Earth, 500ml Poultry Shield (cleaning spray) and 125ml Leg Spray $40 each. ***NOTE we only have a few of these left at the moment

Sheep or Goats – we have separate mixes available for these, it’s the same base (kibbled maize, barley, wheat bran, copra/peas, soya bran and molasses) but the important thing is the mineral mix.  Sheep are intolerant of copper, so the sheep mineral has minimal in it, whereas the Goats need some  Sheep $34.50 for 25kg     Goat $34.50 for 25kg.  The Goat mix has a new mineral mix in it, ramped up to support even a lactating goat.
